ARA Electrical Services successfully completed the engineering design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of a custom Syrup Room Motor Control Centre (MCC) and Distribution Board for a major food and beverage processing facility.
Delivered entirely by our in-house engineering, manufacturing, and site installation teams, the project required the seamless electrical integration of new syrup processing equipment within an active, high-volume production environment.
Our Scope
Working closely with the client’s production and project teams, ARA delivered a complete turnkey solution:
- Detailed Engineering & Design:Custom electrical engineering and switchboard design tailored specifically to the syrup room’s unique process and motor control requirements.
- In-House Switchboard Manufacturing:Built at ARA’s dedicated switchboard facility using industrial-grade switchgear, heavy-duty copper busbar systems, segregated functional sections, and structured internal cable management.
- Site Infrastructure & Cable Management:Installation of new mains supplies, sub-main cabling systems, and heavy-duty cable ladder infrastructure.
- Field Installation & Plant Integration:Complex routing, containment, and termination of power and control cabling inside a live production plant.
- Commissioning & Verification:On-site testing, fault-finding, and strict compliance verification of all field cabling and installed equipment prior to final energisation.
Engineered for Reliability and Compliance
To match the operational demands of the food and beverage sector, the new distribution board was engineered with a focus on long-term reliability, safe isolation, and simplified maintenance access. The physical layout was optimized to provide structured segregation of outgoing motor and process supplies while maintaining built-in capacity for future plant expansion within the existing footprint.
By handling 100% of the project lifecycle in-house, from initial drafting and workshop manufacturing through to final site energisation, ARA Electrical Services ensured strict quality control, compliance with food industry standards, and zero disruption to the client’s ongoing production schedules.
