ARA Electrical Services have recently completed the successful design, construction and testing of an automated chemical filling system controlled by a Cognex viewing camera.
The project presented many challenges which our team of engineers and programmers had to find solutions for. The automated chemical filling system required the filling of containers that were different shapes and sizes and would come down the conveyor system in no typical arrangements. Our programming engineer commissioned the Cognex camera system to decipher the non-typical arrangements and cylinders so that they could be filled automatically.
