Project Overview
EarthSure’s soil washing facility provides a sustainable solution for the treatment and recovery of contaminated soil. The facility can process up to 30 tonnes per hour and 160,000 tonnes annually, recovering up to 98% of treated material for reuse within civil and construction projects.
The installation operates 24 hours a day and forms part of EarthSure’s broader treatment capability for contaminated soils ranging from Category A through to Category C.
ARA Scope of Works
ARA Electrical Services delivered the complete electrical, instrumentation and control package for the facility, from engineering and design through to installation and commissioning.
Our scope included:
- Complete electrical engineering and design
- High-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems
- Full electrical and instrumentation installation
- Power distribution and equipment connections
- Instrumentation, field devices and control cabling
- SCADA system implementation and integration
- Testing and commissioning
- Operational support through project handover
Project Outcome
The completed facility transforms contaminated soil that would otherwise be sent to landfill into reusable materials, including clean rock, stone and sand. Residual material can also be treated onsite, reducing offsite transport and supporting a more efficient waste-treatment process.
